Proclamation for the offering of fourteen (14) work placements in Luxembourg
The Bodossaki Foundation with the collaboration of the Embassy of Luxembourg in Greece, proclaims the offering of fourteen (14) placements in companies in Luxembourg, for a duration of six (6) months. The training period will begin on February 2015. Applications can be sent only to the Foundation ( pa@bodossaki.gr ) until December 10th 2014, by post-graduates candidates or post-graduates students with the following specializations:
- Economics, Marketing & Communications, Organization & Company Management, Human resource management, Banking & Financial Management, Management Science & Technology.
- Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Informatics
- Legal Science
The positions for the training are the following :
- Junior Analyst, Onetree Solutions
- Assistant Client Administrator Intern (Accountant), TMF Group
- Assistant Legal Officer Intern, TMF Group
- Graduate Trainee in the Human Resources department, Luxair S.A.
- J unior Economist, Idea Foundation- Think Tank of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg
- Personal Assistant, Marketing and Commercial Support, Intorel
- Web Developer, Intorel
- Graduate Trainee for the design & optimization of infrastructure system and general concepts for satellite communications teleports, SES your satellite company
- Graduate Trainee for the Analysis & benchmarking of Network Management and Monitoring Control concepts and systems for global satellite communications services and teleports systems, SES your satellite company
- Graduate Trainee for the Develop systems concepts and Non-intrusive probes to collect status information (like: Azimuth, Elevation, EIRP, ...) from 3rd party teleports installations used by SES, SES your satellite company
- Graduate Trainee for Intern for the E-Health project, SES your satellite company
- Intern for the Ground System Test Simulator, SES your satellite company
- Intern for the Efficient Multicarrier Transmission for Broadband Satellite Communications, SES your satellite company
- Intern for the Satellite Monitoring & Control Software Verification, SES your satellite company
Conditions :
- The candidates must be of Greek nationality
- Fluency in English (Proficiency or TOEFL degree with 80/213/550 grades or IELTS more or equal to 6,5). The knowledge of German or French will be an additional asset
- A first degree and a master’s degree from a Greek or Foreign University, which is recognized by the interdisciplinary recognition of academic titles and information organization (DOATAP).
- Advanced Computer skills
- Age : maximum 32
Additional Information :
The candidates should send electronically no later than December 10th, the following documents:
- A complete and recent curriculum vitae in English.
- A one page statement in English, explaining the reasons of participation to the program.
- A copy of the degree and postgraduate degree. The candidates who have not yet completed their postgraduate studies, should kindly send their analytical grades until the date of their application, provided that they will have completed their postgraduate studies until the date of the beginning of their internship.
- A copy of the certificates for the knowledge of foreign languages.
- A recommendation letter in English from the supervisor professor at the post-graduate studies.

Selection Process :
A committee formed by representatives of the Bodossaki Foundation, the Embassy of Luxembourg in Athens and the Luxembourgish companies, will select the trainee. The committee will interview the candidates at its discretion, pre-select the most prevalent ones which will be placed in companies and will recommend them to the Board of the Foundation, which will take the final decision.
Other Information :
The Companies-organisms involved in the program, have been proposed by the Embassy of Luxembourg in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg, and are active in Luxembourg. The condition for the grant of the internship by the Foundation is the previous signature on the student training contract by the trainee, with the complainant for its exercise, in participating to the program and having the relevant company initiative.
The placement will be granted by the Bodossaki Foundation and has six months duration. This will cover accommodation (rent) and cost of life of the trainee and will amount to 1.300 € per month.
Furthermore the Foundation, in consultation with the student, will cover travel fee (a return air ticket from Luxembourg) of a total amount of 250 €.
The company interested to employ a trainee, has no obligation of paying him/her but will provide health insurance, according to valid health regulations in Luxembourg, as well as assistance in finding accommodation.
If the company chooses at its discretion, to give an additional amount to the trainee, the Foundation will not interrupt the grant. The Foundation may terminate the grant if the company ceases to employ the trainee for any reason, including the fact if the trainee interrupts his work for any reason.
The trainees’ obligations are the respect for the Luxembourgish legislation, correct behavior within the company and respect for the rules of confidentiality imposed by the company. The trainees do not receive employment contract rights after their training period or any other labor rights.
After the completion of the placement, the trainees will be requested to send to the Bodossaki Foundation and the Embassy of Luxembourg in Athens, a report about their experience.
