Luxembourg at the 6th KinoFest Patras – German-Language Cinema in Greece

The Embassy of Luxembourg in Athens is pleased to share the successful participation in the 6th KinoFest, a festival dedicated to German-language cinema, held in Patras, Greece, from 24 to 28 September 2025.

Luxembourg was represented by two cinematic works: Marianengraben by Eileen Byrne and Songs Within by Katalin Gödrös. Eileen Byrne also took part in the festival’s Industry Event, engaging in insightful exchanges with Greek and international filmmakers.

Both films were warmly received by audiences and contributed to KinoFest’s mission of promoting diverse voices and fostering cross-cultural dialogue through cinema. More information is available at kinofest.gr.
