Embassy’s Participation in the 26th Festival du Film Francophone de Grèce

The Embassy of Luxembourg in Athens participated in the 26th Festival du Film Francophone de Grèce, which took place from 24 March to 2 April 2026. As part of this year’s programme, the Embassy presented two Luxembourg co‑produced films:

  • “Allah n’est pas obligé” by Zaven Najjar,
  • preceded by the short film “Matin Brun” by Carlo Vogele.

The films were shown in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Patra, allowing audiences across Greece to discover and engage with Luxembourgish co‑productions, with the support of the Film Fund of Luxembourg.

During the Athens screening, the Ambassador of Luxembourg, Mr Paul Schmit, delivered a welcome message, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange and celebrating the long‑standing ties between Luxembourg and the Francophone community.
